Planned Giving

Consider making a lasting gift to the Foundation, and support public education and students for years to come. Planned Giving allows individuals to increase the impact of their gift beyond their lifetime giving. We welcome the opportunity to work with you and your advisors to craft a gift that matches your vision.

When naming the Foundation in your estate plans, please use The Foundation for Madison’s Public Schools, Inc. for tax purposes. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization.

Below are several options for planned giving.

Bequests
Include a charitable gift to the Foundation in your will or trust agreement.

Gifts of Marketable Securities
Transfer publicly-traded securities during your lifetime or upon death to the Foundation.

Gifts of Retirement Benefits
Designate the Foundation as a full or partial beneficiary of your retirement account.

Gifts of Life Insurance Proceeds
Designate the Foundation as a full or partial beneficiary of your life insurance.

Charitable Gift Annuities and Charitable Trusts
Transfer assets to an annuity or create a Trust which benefits you during your lifetime and the Foundation after your death.
