Thanks to the Adopt-a-School program, UW Health Northeast Family Medical Center donated dozens of snow pants and boots for students at Lake View Elementary. Through this new partnership, which began in 2012, the clinic has provided fruit for students’ breakfast so they get a great start to the school day as well as for PTA meetings. Clinic staff have also spent time with students in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters “School Friends” program and hope to arrange a health and wellness day at the school this upcoming year. FMPS is excited to see what other possibilities this partnership will create for Lake View students!
